Welcome & Basic facts

Hi! Welcome to NeuroLink's first ever session!

In this discussion, we introduced ourselves, then moved on to build a basic foundation for learning neuroscience. This presentation will briefly cover the main regions of the brain, neurotransmission, and neurotransmitters.

Disclaimer!

Please note that, many concepts discussed below are oversimplifications of the true workings of the brain. For instance, although here every lobe is assigned specific responsibilities, most functions such as sensation or memory require the collaboration of numerous parts of the brain. It is a good practice to not take anything for granted when learning neuroscience due to the subject's complex and obscure nature.
